I have already hiked a handful of sections on the Benton MaKaye Trail. But this summer while i have june and july off from work i am going to hike all 300 miles. If anyone shares the same interests let me know.

I'm a big fan of the BMT Viewseeker. If you like high ridges, mountains and solitude you will love this trail. I'm jealous, wish I had the time to hike the entire length at one time.

Keep your start date. I may try and meet up with you the following weekend, up the trail some where. Might even work in a resupply when we meet.

I could meet up with you around the TN/NC state line area, Sandy Gap north to Slickrock Creek. Keep posting your dates and we'll see what happens.
