View Full Version : Who is starting on 3/25/08 and wouldn't mind company their first day?
So, my situation is this: I was planning on thru-hiking with a friend, and those plans have since fallen through. I'm fine with hiking alone, but I dare not tell this to my parents, lest they have an ultimate freak out. They worry since I'm female. I don't want to tell them that those plans have fallen through until I have a back-up plan. So I'm wondering if anyone out there might want to start with me, no commitment for more than the first day. I'm planning on starting on the connector trail to Springer. Thanks! Just PM me. peace.

Per the list (http://www.whiteblaze.net/index.php?page=2008thruhikers) only one 'might' be starting on the 25th. There are 9 starting on the 24th and 1 on the 26th, however. (You can also access the list from WB homepage. On the left pane click on WhiteBlaze Thru-Hikers and then click on Class of 2008.)
You might send some PM's to those starting near you... Don't worry, though, there will be plenty of hikers in the area.

ill be starting around march 25th (give or take a day) on the approach trail, prolly cya ya there :)
