Water in Mt. Rogers area?

Any news on water sources in Mt. Rogers?

Anyone been to Grayson Highlands lately to confirm/deny?
I know the drought is still in the 18 in. stage in Charlotte (down the mountain), just wanted to see if VA is experiencing the same.

I was at the wise shelter around the 25th of last month and the stream was flowing great. When I went through in December everything was flowing except the hurricane shelter.

Thanks! We don't want to be in the same situation some fellow hikers were in Pennsylvania this past September. It's a shame, the only water sources anywhere nearby (in this case down the ridge) were heavily polluted by the long closed coal mines.
