Finally, woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground!! BUT now its snowing again!! Goig to take the jeep out and play a little.....:)...:).

Hmmm, also going to buy a few $150 million, mega millions ticket........ $150 million dollars would pay for a few really well supported thru-hikes..........for myself and a bunch of fellow Whiteblazers (sorry no "cyber-hiker" whiteblazers.... :p) !!

Oh yea.... the snow, need about 30 more minutes worth and I'll be able to go snowboarding in the yard.....:D.....about time we got some!

Itd be great to start off March 1st with snow on the ground.......

Hope you get three feet of the stuff. I miss my hometown for the very same reasons. Twice in the last five years they've gotten single storm totals over 6 feet!:sun

You both may have my share of the remaining snow before mud.

Take the ice, too.

It has only snowed lightly twice this winter, both times melted by the next day and now the grass is starting to green up a bit. I remember in past winters when we would have several inches, if not feet of snow that stayed around most of the winter. Looks like it will be an early spring this year and a bit lacking in water for this summer IMO. Don't know about global warming but it, at least regionally, seems to warmer than in past years :(

I'm @ work about 15 minutes north of Philly, and it's starting to come down pretty good. In this area, people drive in the rain likes it a foot of snow... the commute is gonna suck.

it's apparently raining here in the tidewater area of VA. good thing too as there are some wild fires burning just to our south and into N. carolina.

I agree with 88Blue on that one. Wish there was more. Oh well, last year the day before St. PAddys we got a big storm, that was a good one, so i am still holding out.

Hope everything is going well 88, and a good day to jersey joe also, wear your PJ's inside out tonite and maybe we wont have to work tommorow.

Snow here too, and bad news. My daughter & her husband wrecked their vehicle last night on her way back from a late night work shift & we spent most of the night dealing with that. Fortunately it appears they only have minor injuries, although my daughter is complaining of back pain/spasms.

It could have been worse though, so we are thankful it wasn't.

How about send the snow down to the south. That beats the tornadoes we been having.

We haven't had a really good stable snowfall yet. Only a couple good snowy nights, then melts away next morning.

Absolutely nothing here in Berea yesterday. A little this morning (the first all year!!!), but not enough to cancel the town school.

A nice dumping of snow last night 4-5" but turned to rain this morning, not enough to get out of work.

Four or five inches of heavy, wet snow mixed with rain here in the boston burbs... just got through cleaning off the driveway... ugh.

We've had snow since November 10th. I've been fishing on the ice for two months. It should be gone by April 10th or so. Man I love being a yankee.:D

Well, we did not get as much snow last night as originally forecast in the Connecticut River Valley, but still enough to make the monthly total for February set a new record. The monthly total for December also set a new record for that month -- but most of that pack melted during the January thaw.
