I have just finished a class on folklore and the whole time I was there my mind began to wander to the trail. I am curious about any tall tales/legends/myths that have spawned on the trail. Please share anything you have heard, witnessed, or experienced. One of the major points of the class was how our stories define our culture (and yes - I believe AT hikers are a culture unto themselves). Thanks for sharing!
