Best AT and Long-Distance Hiking Books

Out of all the AT and long distance hiking books I have read so far, my favorite and most informative have been "A Hiker's Companion" by Cindy Ross and Todd Gladfelter, and Jan D. Curran's "The AT-How to Prepare for and Hike It". I was wondering if other's have read these and what they thought of as among the best.

Not really "How To" books, but good as far as offering an honest sense of what the actual hike is like are:
