View Full Version : Where is Springer?
Yes, I know where Springer is. I have wondered which mountain is Springer when sitting on top of Blood. Does anyone have a photo made from Blood Mtn with Springer indicated?

You can't see Springer from Blood. Too far and too much in the way. It would be SW though.

I would like to know the same. I did see a picture once, taken from Blood, claiming that Springer was in the distance on a female hiker's trailjournal pages. If I had to find that picture again, I wouldn't be able to.

Only one I've ever been able to pick out (for sure) from the top of Blood is Tray Mtn, which is about 28 or so miles north on the trail. Seems like, on a clear day of course, you might be able to spot Springer from Blood. Then again ...there are a lot of mountain tops in that area about the same elevation. A good map and GPS coordinates would do it !!

Come on Whiteblazers, doesn't someone have a picture that shows where Springer is? If not from Blood maybe from Tray?

It's one of the mountains you can't see.
