Has anyone heard where and what wildcowboy is doing? Or was he just a sick joke?

I would imagine he is still training for his May 1 start.

I just saw him flying up the trail at the end of Georgia, He had a small light weight back pack with a baseball cannon shoved up his a** and that was firing backwards several baseballs a minute, an older more sophisticated guy like me would have used beer and beans as a proverbial edge of cheating as the toots would have lightened the Puds on the ups to get up the hills. Only I wasn't willing to just wear tennis shoes and a orange thong like he did. I have to wear the pants in the family, cus I am a Renaissance Man. Hey why didn't you put this damn thread in the Humor Section for all to see.... Do me a favor next time you have a bright idea like this drink some cheap a** Yuengling as I call it Ding-A- Ling, and post this Cr*p in the right dam+ Forum... OK?

Yea ... I did this for laughs .... I am Kidding, Except for the fact I did see him flying up the trail in thong.... I have pictures. They are R rated.

He's not a joke (unless it was an elaborate one). There was a clip for an AZ TV station interviewing him about his trip.

He's serious.

He just does not understand that what he's talking about is impossible. He will learn this on his first morning. I just hope he reassesses his plan and enjoys his trip.

I will NOT mock him.

Ok Perhaps that isn't as funny as I thought - But can you guess what my wife has to endure after reading that diotribe? 23 years of marriage.....

Wild Cowboy is somewhere between delusional and denial, but he shouldn't be there long - has to hurry on to get that training in. :D

Hopefully, he's getting his final preparations in order to go hike the Appalachian Trail and enjoy it's offerings and honoring his mother and forgetting about the absurdity that swept over him earlier.
Oh. . . humor forum.

Ummm. . . ok. Wildcowboy walks into a bar and says 'ow.'

23 years - you're likely doing plenty right. And it was funny.:)

Maybe he decided to show us all and left on Jan 29th. Which I believe would have him around Delaware Water Gap if he's on schedule.

If he is doing the training that he says he is doing, then you certainly cannot fault his motivation.

Certainly not his motivation. Concept, yes.

I am more amazed that anyone here should take Cowboy seriously... We are on the internet right? Here is a pic of Wild Cowboy also aka Katz- Bro B Bryson. This fat oaf can do the AT in a private jet in four hours. Don't believe me, wait for the movie.

I would like to see that, too. Trouble is I don't know if it has in him. After all, he did not finish his thru-hike on White Blaze.

does that mean subscribing to the political forum is like trying to hike with a 100lbs pack, cause no one makes it though the politics forum...

That's good, but I meant he didn't finish answering the questions that were asked. He started and participated in discussions here, but never answered the legitimate questions and disappeared. Hiking the AT is a mental challenge, not unlike dealing with some of the adversity here.

Be careful. Dinos have been known to drop things as they float over when they spot an on-going whizzing contest - and dino droppings are huge. :D

In my job I'm used to getting dumped on from above and I learned a long time ago to always smile when I whizz. Nobody likes a serious whizzer. Will the Dino blimp be at Trail Days this year? <===><

Wild Cowboy Is after records --this Cowboy goes slow I've been known to spend seversl hours just watching a MaMa bear and cubs. The only time I rush is when I'm heading away from town.
