BTW, the record high for Charlotte for Feb. 18th was 78 degrees. 1891. The high for Charlotte today was listed at 67 degrees.

As a friend of Hopeful Hiker, I gotta agree. I learned very early not to let him get me into any kind of political or religious discussion. But any other discussion was fair game and usually proved interesting. Luv ya hopeful!

How come when someone who refutes global warming by using an example of really cold weather in a given area and they're accused of being an idiot and not understanding global warming, i.e. regional weather vs. global climate. However, when someone who believes in global warming uses regional weather as an example of global warming and he gets away with it?
