Does any one know of a digital camera capable of taking decent 4+ megapixel stills along with DVD (or near dvd) quality video. Data storage is not an issue as long as it uses USB. Camera geeks have told me this is impossible but I am not incredibly picky about image quality. All prices will be considered. I'm currently checking out the sony cyber Shot DSC-M2.

I recently broke down and bought a Kodak Easyshare M753. I like it pretty well. I'ts 7 migapixels and shoots pretty good quality videos, limited only by your available memory. $129 at Wally World.

How do the videos look on a decent sized TV?

If you're on a tighter budget, this is the cheapest in terms of what you're looking for: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kodak+-+Playsport+ZX5+(Generation+2)+1080p+HD+Flash+Memor y+Camcorder+-+Aqua/2052494.p?id=1218307912943&skuId=2052494

You can also look at some of the GoPro units. Toshiba makes a unit like the Kodak I posted above, but it's a waterproof model for a bit more.

Hope those help!

Please note the date of the OP. Plenty of such cameras are available now.

Ah, I didn't even notice. I just saw it bumped up because of the new post.

Silly thread necromancy.
