I am so glad for the people thats going to hike this year but at the same time the warm weather starting to show makes me feel crazy inside. Its like I want to just go out and start hiking the trail again this whole summer and be with other hikers. Pretty silly eh?

Nah, not silly. It beats sitting in an office 8 hours a day.
nothin silly about it. I get it every day the weather is nice or every time I see a good trail pic. I do my best to listen to those voices, though

Not sure where Concord, NC is in relation to the AT or any mountainous trails, but it's gotta be a lot closer than me here in JAX. No trails around here (I don't count flat trails), if there were I'd at least go out for weekenders, seems like you could do at least that. I have to settle to do large sections once a year. I am thinking about moving, but not in the near future.
