Mountain Hardwear makes good quality stuff and the idea of a flip-over bag is interesting. I would still probably want a down mummy bag because of the weight.

I'd say nay.

While Mountain Hardware has some good bags in the higher end, they make some low end stuff too that is VERY optimistically rated in my experience. Semi-rectangular won't be as warm as mummy either, and this bag has no hood. Which isn't necessarily a problem if you use a balaclava, or hat, but most would expect a hoodless bag to be light weight.

For the unpredictable spring (anywhere) and fall (up North), need a hood and mummy design for warmth. Fine for summer.
