I'm toying with doing a two day hike from Daleville, Va. north. Anyone know if there's a place to park at Va. 614/Jennings Creek?

IIRC, there's no parking lot per se, but room to pull off the road. It's a popular swimming hole for locals, and probably a popular trailhead for short hikes in either direction. There were fire pits and broken glass... signs of use...

Actually there is a little parking area, right there at Jennings Creek. Not big and not an official parking area, but plenty of space for several cars to park. Don't know how safe your car would be, but I think it would be reasonably safe as there isn't much right there.

There is plenty of room to park. And your car should be safe this time of year since the swimming hole is not in use. I parked there for two nights in December 06 with no problems.
