Disclaimer if my wife happens to surf by my comments (in small print too):

Do not assume that you know everything there is to know about a writer simply because you read their post, particularly #5. Any judgments you make will be based on the information they have provided you about themselves, which is probably vague, incomplete, embellished and probably misleading . Whatever opinion you form on them as people, or their life as a whole, is probably best kept to yourself. Remember, you are the reader. An obvious exception to this would be if someone were asking for advice or opinions.
:-?

I think I'll still be in trouble if she reads this! Maybe she'll suggest I go hiking or something.:D

1. For my meals I usually go with Liptons rice or noodle sides - which I supplement with Spam or summer sausage. (1 can of Spam can supplement 4 of the Liptons dishes).

2. Tabasco Sauce - gotta have it.
http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en-commons/thumb/b/be/150px-Tabasco_sauce.jpg
3. Breakfast stuffs - cocoa, poptarts, oatmeal, raisins and sugar.
4.Candy bars and snacks - Snickers, honey roasted peanuts ... etc.
5. Batteries for my head lamp and camera.

I could probably list more things ... but I've already cheated by bunching my list into sets. That is a minimum list of what I need to keep going.

1) Grits, nearly any flavor but cheddar is my favorite.
2) Couscous
3) Green tea (powder form)
4) Sweet n Salty candy bars (I prefer the almond ones).
5) Oreo's. Specially if I can find them in the 4 packs so they fit in my bowl & don't get crushed.

I'm getting some good ideas from this thread, keep em comming.

Yes, Sly, I like tuna every which way but warm mixed in with noodles or rice. But then, I may not have ever been really hungry.
Great ideas on this posts though. I forgot cheese!

The instant ones do.
Not nearly as good as home cooked, but IMHO better than instant oatmeal. I fix 3 or more 1 oz packs per day if it's the prepackaged stuff, or about 3 - 4 Oz if it comes in bulk. Add a bit of olive oil & bacon bits & O M G!!!
Yea, you can add sugar to the plain or "Butter flavor" ones, I just don't like sweets.
