View Full Version : Montrail Hardrocks Closeout
I just saw that Sierra Trading post is having a closeout (http://www.sierratradingpost.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?&allAnyWords=&allWords=&anyWords=&exactPhrase=&searchWithin=hardrock&searchDescriptions=true&N=9913492) on the old Hardrock models. I grabbed an extra pair since I've heard bad things about the new design under the Columbia umbrella.
Just as an FYI, those appear to be the 2006-2007 models (the first batch by Columbia).
THe old Hardrocks are dark grey w/ blue stripes and with a yellow sole (pre-columbia):

Rumor has it that Columbia is revamping the shoes in 2008, partially because of the complaints from the post-Columbia takeover of Montrail. I suspect that is why Sierra Trading Post has those for sale.
Too bad. They have wide versions available, too. (Which is what I wear in a hardrock)
