Hi everone i found a great book at my local library today it call 25 Thur-Hiker trails in the USA has trail from 100 miles to 1300 miles. The one call the shore to shore trail sound like a really good hike. it only i was rich i just take off and hike all these trails. you might want to see if you can get this book at your local library. I can get isbn number if any you would like to have it. I will try to post a picture of it

Is that the Shore to Shore Trail in Michigan that it was referring to? If so, it is a nice enough trail (my first ever solo hike was on this trail), but it was built and is maintained for horses. That means that camping areas are not ideal for hikers and are spaced too far apart for convenience. It is an option tho, and as I said, I have hiked sections.

Check out Potterfield's(author's last name) Classic Hikes of the World for some must-do hikes!!!!
