Looking for a good trail are in Arizona for 3-15-->3-22 looking to make about a 40-60 mile loop, depending on difficulty.

I'd like to do some peakbagging, but since I'm not familiar with the area I was wondering what wilderness will have peaks that I can traverse w/o needing too much in the way of extra equipment.

I've got an ice ax and crampons, but my boots are in need of new soles.

Also, would a sturdier tent be advised (i.e. take my hammerhead instead of my tarp or tarptent)?

Any and all help appreciated.

Superstition Mountains outside of Phoenix. You wouldn't need an ice ax. It's mountainous desert. A tarp will be fine.
