looking for "Carefree" a 2007 thru-hiker

Tall and skinny guy. Went by the name of "Carefree". I met him on my spring break 2007. I did a section hike to the top of Clingmans Dome and met him up there. They were making good time i remember. Just wanted to check and see if maybe he made it? Anyone know?
