I'm going to Amicalola Falls State Park tomorrow. I'll probably hike some tomorrow, even though it'll be late when I start. I'll stop at Frosty Mtn. if it's really late, or Springer if it's not.
Everything is packed, and I hope to be able to relax and sleep tonight. :)
I'll post occasionally to let folks that might be interested know about my progress. Wish me luck!

BTW, I'm using a condensed version of the data from the '07 Companion. I made an Excel spreadsheet, then transferred it to a DOC file. If the attachment attaches, anyone is welcome to use it. Both sides of 2 sheets gets you to the Smokies. Both sides of 23 sheets gets you to Katahdin.

I won't have a problem. Pack is just about to go in the car, and then I'm gonna shower, lay down and read myself to sleep.
I've never been this calm before a Springer start before. I honestly believe that only a serious injury or family emergency will keep me from finishing this time.
I'm starting 2 days ahead of the Legends Crew. They'll probably catch my lazy ass by Dick's Creek. :)

Thanks a lot. I'll need the luck. I tend to get hurt moderately often, but not usually when I'm in good hiking shape.
This year, I hiked pretty heavily all Winter. I'm now seriously in love with Winter hiking. Good views, no one around, etc.
