I would like to buy a pocketmail device but the company seems to be out of stock. Any suggestions on a device that is similar (long battery life, durable, full keyboard). Would anyone like to sell theirs?

eBay and Craig's List? Also post a message on Trailjournals forum.

I got mine on ebay. One thing I want to look into is a better cell phone with the microsoft OS installed. That way I could use it for that and a cell phone. A lot of phone will only compose if there is an internet connection. Something to keep in mind.

They are either out of stock or out of business. I'm wondering too. Check out my posting re:pocketmail

I have one in very gently used condition with a padded leatherette case I'll let you have for $20 + shipping. But I highly doubt it's of any use. I have it in a cabinet with an old Underwood typewriter, a PONG game and a TV antenna.

Is it with for 8-track and transister radio?

I have a set of really sweet golf clubs with nice organic wooden shafts that I would be willing to trade for bamboo fly rods. Brassie, Niblick, Spoon, Niblick, Baffy, Mashie and all the other great club monikers:D in the bag.

Pocketmail is still in business. They are located in Australia. I have one and it works fine. Even after they turned off the analog towers.

What would the type of phone signal used have to do with the function of a pocketmail? Just wondering.

You sold me, aaroniguana- $20 +shipping. Where to go from here? I'm sure there is a way to send you a personal message though I am not entirely sure how to do this.

I have one that I never took on the trail, and only used a couple of times for test messages....it's like new. Let me know if you're still looking for one. I'll even throw in the waterproof bag.

Give me a day or two to locate it, if you haven't already got another seller.

Yes, please, I'd be happy to purchase your pocketmail, Jerryatric. How much? Let me know. Thanks.

I am still interested in your pocketmail too, arroniguana. I guess whoever can get back to me first. I am leaving for the trail on Saturday, but could still receive packages at my house, as my partner will be there to help with my maildrops and such. Is yours lightly used?
