Welcome Florida visitors & Hikers abound to the grand opening of the Florida trail! First order of business is to pick a trail mascot, this is very important here in the Humor section as it needs to be remotely funny and Monty Pythonish and worthy of our Florida State mascots. As you know we cannot accept Goats as a mascot here as they are still being fed to Gators. So for my first acceptable yea or nea for top business is "Crikey" a top notch gator that really knows how to have fun around the Bayou and nearby trails... Here is his side view.

Woo I was hoping on a better showing with your recommendation for the Florida Trail Mascot nominees. Alligators? Mosquitoes? Lame! I nominate the Florida retiree driving 3 tons of steel as the more exciting nominee as the Florida Trails Mascot. I have personally experienced the thrill of having a senior citizen barrelling down on myself on some deserted road while hitching and I must say - at those moments, both I and the senior driver have the same state of feeling like we're both in God's waiting room. I vote seniors as the Florida Trails Mascot.

Ok but, we all have had close calls, Mine were on a Motorcycle etc... This is supposed to be the Humor section, So photoshop a funny re-tired retreaded old guy for the trail mascot please.

I don't care where you are from.... I am from somewhere more south than you. You cannot top it. Be with the band and come up with some funny senior ideas. And Yes Seniors can be funny, so give it a real military try!- No harm done.
