Well, there was another issue. Unless the rules have changed drastically a shoulder stock and a barrel under 18" will get you LOTS of attention from the BATF, fully auto or not.

I believe they said it was a prototype that was not going to production. It sounds like they were just looking to draw attention to their booth at the gun show.
