Q. I have a broken/missing buckle. Can it be replaced?

If your buckle is broken or misplaced we would be happy to send you a new one. You may contact us by calling 1 (866) 715-3223, prompt 7. Please provide your name and address, along with a description of the buckle, including the width of the strap the buckle is attached to, in inches.

Yes, or REI (and likely EMS) carry a good selection of all sorts of buckles and attaching hardware very cheap, if you don't want to wait for NF to mail you one AND/OR to have a spare in case it happens again.

slightly off subj---Does anyone besides me still carry a spare hipbelt buckle?I have thought about it but decided it would be pretty hard to break one. My pack has a screw in the back that would be almost impossible to get along without, though.
