Hello all,
I was just wondering what people's opinions were on warm up hikes. Trails with similar elevation and climate and such. And also, have you all seen the new Vibram Five Fingers?? http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/. Thoughts and/or opinions??

Doing some day hikes and backpacking trips can only help. Also helps in figuring out what gear works and doesn't work in certain climates.

I've looked into them too! They look so cool, but they're super expensive so I've been holding off on buying them. I need some other more important gear items first.
I saw a few hikers trying them on the trail. Seemed like a big deal to get them on. I'll stick with my crocs.
