just ordered from sierra trading post, it's the 'petite' womens size, i'm a 6'1" / 175lb. guy...figuring it'll be a neat compromise between a 3/4 and a full size pad. anyone have any thoughts on this co./ products?

Most folks I know order the one that fits and usually say it feels sofaking good.

that's sofaking funny. i used to use a thermarest 3/4, my kid and his friend blew it out using it as a sled down the stairs. this new one is 19 oz. and 66x20x1, and was on sale for $18 bucks. pad that fits, fits my sofaking budget!

P.O.E. makes great pads. They are making pads with Aerogel which is the best & lightest insulation, but very expensive. Has a lifetime warranty.

just got my pad delivered today, seems like it will work just fine...wt. 20 oz w/ stuff sack, repair kit and strap(which i won't be using) folds and rolls into a package about the size of a loaf of rye bread. comes up to my nose when standing, so w/ a clothes pillow it should be awesome. got my tent yesyerday evening and am ready to head out this weekend, hf to ?
