Me and my dad are going on a 3-5 days hike this year and plan to do more hike, he needs a pack, i have been looking at the Granite Gear Vigra, my pack is an Osprey Atmos, but i bought that 2 years ago and we are on a tight budget of around 1000, we need: both a bag, stove, pack for dad, tent. i just wanted any opinions from people who have used it and any recommendations of other cheap light packs
I've but haven't tried them, but I've seen the commercials.
They seem to make people really really happy.

Ah. No, I haven't tried that one either. ;)
Looks pretty good though. Interested in hearing some feedback, especially from folks that have tried more than one UL pack. I have a JAM2, and am happy with it, but have nothing to compare it to. What are good features to look for in a UL pack, assuming its the right size and weight?
