I need a good 4-5 days hike for me and my dad to do this summer, we primarily need it to be in NC/TN part because we live up an hour from knoxville on I75 In Williamsburg KY, Gatlinburg is about 1.5-2 Hours away to put it into perspective, We may even be able to go to Georgia

Start at Roan Mountain/Carvers Gap in Tennessee and go north towards Damascus. You will get to see the famouse Humps, stay at Kincora Hostel, see Laurel Falls, cross Watauga Dam, go through Osborne Farm and end up in Damascus or shorter.
I have hiked from Carvers Gap to US 19E
Actually we started 3 miles below Roan hiked that then 2 miles down to Carvers
