Today, when hiking just south of SMSP, I noticed a memorial cross with the letters "SD". When hiking Nobo, just past a labelled campsite on hiker's left, in a small thicket, is a very small white cross and flower jar. Can anyone share any insight? To my recollection it was in the Thompson WMA just south of SMSP. Just curious.
