anybody have any experience with the Kraz or Avior they can share?

I'm not particularly tall - 5'-11" so I dont need length- more interested in rain performance and condensation in cooler weather.

thanks

No experience here, but Coleman tents are low-end quality in general.

They are heavy tents for backpacking and not the greatest of quality compared to what is on the market these days. I owned a COleman back 20 years ago and just used it for car camping. But then again, my first backpacking tent was this little no name pup thing for $20. Only used it once. :)

the Kraz weighs in at 3lbs 10oz - doesnt seem too heavy to me.

I realize that i'm not buying a cadillac but... the price ($57) seems very good if it can perform reasonably well.

Actually Coleman makes some good stuff you just have to be selective. Their F1 ulralight stove outperforms a lot of more expensive stoves and I've got a Coleman tent that worked great in lots of weather.

So it aint MSR.
