My daughter just called to say she's stuck in Boone with a broken car. She needs to get to Chapel Hill by 9:00 tonight - hard deadline to check in for a medical study she is getting paid to participate in.
Can anyone help? I'd be willing to pay something. Or does anyone have any ideas?
Pardon the off-topic post, but Boone is close enough to the trail that I thought maybe someone out there might be in a position to help ...

P.S., at this point, if I drive out to get her, I can't have her back time because of the 3 hour drive there.
