Just heard about this one. These are two podcasts I follow. Sounds like a fantastic trip plus photography/videography workshop. I can only imagine how much it'll cost, though! Yikes!

Everest Base Camp trek is a popular one. Most fly in to Lukla (9,000') and go from there.
More adventurous folks hike in from Jiri. (takes an extra week, but gets you acclimated much easier and shows you some of real Nepal, not just the touristy part)

The hike from Lukla up to base camp has been very commercialized and includes western food (somewhat, let's say they try) (Jimmy Carter hiked it when he was 60, they'll even show you the rooms he slept in)

but this particular seemingly commercial trip looks like there's plenty that can be learned in the photography business. nepal is one of those places that it's hard to take a bad picture.

By all means go. If you want to do it on the cheap, PM me as i know some great Sherpa guides there that would make your trip very enjoyable.
