Harper's Ferry Trail Access - Help

I'm wondering if there is a trail head near Harper's Ferry Road and Jefferson Pike, or where Jefferson turns into Chestnut Hill Road. Does anyone know the area well enough to help me out?

There's a parking lot before you make the right onto Union Street from 340 that's right on the trail. If you don't mind paying 6 dollars you can safely park for days at a time at the Harper Ferry National Park.
