It looks like a waterspout to me, or a dust devil, but it could be a waterfall. I think you'd remember if it were one of the first two.

I got a similar photo at Shelton Graves. I didn't take the picture, it just developed on two frames. Spooky part was that 4 weeks later I got the negatives out to send to the GSNP Historian and both negatives were solid black. Every other negative on the roll was fine. Where were you when you were visited?

Looks more like a cross between an ant-eater and a bear from the camera angle. I'm sure there's some canine in there. :D

Hey cut me some slack. Met her on my first zero in Hot Springs. I was trail fried. Oh by the way, learned in Hot Springs that you should never drink any clear liquid that will support combustion. I think they called it Chyne?

Still waiting for the 2 days in Gatlinburg Coupon. I have no desire to go to Gatlinburg, so may have to redeem for a couple of days on the BMT, since I still have the sections in the Smokies, and from the Smokies to Hwy 68 yet to do. Could use company,maybe, I hear its not too heavily traveled.
