What to do with extras

I am leaving a food drop at fontana dam . If I have extra food after resupply what do you suggest I do with my extra food? Is there a swap box somewhere where I could leave it for another hiker?

There's usually a hiker box. You could just eat it (you'll be hungry.) Other hikers might want some, especially if it's food they don't have to carry -- like fresh brownies.

There is no such thing as a hiker having extra brownies. Noodles and rice, yes. Brownies? Not a chance. ;) :D
