I just ran into the following video release from a defense contractor. This piece of hardware is being developed for military use but has some interesting applications outside of the Defense department. It looks real enough.

Amazing stuff they're coming up with these days. They have a fully functioning model shown on the video clip above. Weight 31 lbs with battery packs and can allow 200 pound payloads. The military applications are obvious it is also being studied as a replacement for wheel chairs.
