Miss Janet is a grandmother again!!

Ian August Arthur was born to Kaitlin at 6:00 a.m. this morning, Tuesday May 27, 2008.

Miss Janet is blessed again! And we have another great member of the Appalachian Trail community. Janet already bought him his Trail boots (you go Janet!).

Little Ian weighed in at 8 pounds and 12 ounces (good Appalachian stock!). He is 21 " long.

Kaitlin had him entirely natural, no epidural. I'm so happy for you Kaitlin! She was in labor for 24 hours Janet says. No complications.

Janet thanks everyone for their love and support, and if anyone would like to mail the baby, mom (grandma? :D) anything, you may do so at the hostel still:
