I just stopped in at REI to pick up my paycheck today and found out we were having a big "Super Clearance" sale. This was not the "Garage Sale" where the returns are sold, but rather all new items that have been replaced by updated versions. I came out with 2 sleeping bags (1 for me, 1 for my son) & 1 Thermarest pad for $60.

Well, the bag I picked up for myself is the REI Shasta (women's). It is a synthetic bag with a 15-degree rating. This is a good thing for me since I tend to sleep cold and would rather be too warm than too cold while I'm sleeping. I was wondering if anyone had any experince with this bag and if you could tell me your likes & dislikes of it.

Thanks in advance!

PS. My son got the 15-degree Volcano Jrs bag. Anyone use that for their kids and have any comments on that one?
