Jack I just bought a pair of new shiny red high heels that would look real good on the Trail....I believe the heels would work a lot better than my Lekis. :-?

I would say north of Pearisburg. He caught a ride there they other day with Boo Boo after giving me a fatherly lecture in Damascus.:)

I thought I spotted him along a highway just north of Ciny. It turned out to just be a hobo carrying a McCain poster.

Well, I've never actually seen it, but I've heard he has a nice little cabin in Hannover New Hampshire. And I've even seen him in different clothes too!
Of course, this is only hearsay, as I've no photographic evidence.;)

this made me bust out a big laugh. I only met Jack briefly at TD but he had his trademark shirt on; he also seemed to be a bit scratched up and he related that he took a wrong turn off a blue blaze.

Who said anything about thru-hiking? There are tons of "blue blazes" and there isn't the purist uptight attitude....as much :)

If anyone cares, Jack just finished a week in Shenandoah Park and is now recuperating at Casa Bfitz in Northern Virginia. Off to Harpers tomorrow, after that things are sort of up in the air for awhile til we hit the Long Trail later in the summer. Was in Waynesboro briefly today and saw Matty, Chaco, Wak, and lots of other folks who are all doing great. Looking forward to seeing them again before too long.
