Um, this may be a bit pedestrian (pun somewhat intended) but care of shelter mice is quite simple. Go to shelter, sleep, treat mice as you would.:) HYOH. Mouse your own mouse. . . err something.

I don't use a mouse in a shelter - my notebook has a touchpad.
