Seeking hiking partners or group hike

I'm looking to do some 2 - 4 day hikes in NC, TN or Southern VA. This summer or fall.

If you have a group going or a hike planned and another hiker fits in with your plan, let me know.

My location is sometimes fortuitious, in that I live very near Erwin, TN and so some shuttling gets easier (thanks to wife!)

I'm not a fast hiker, but I don't mind your hiking ahead either.

I am up for sections around them thar parts too. Blackedoutcoupe and I have done two recently - TN 91 to Damascus and Elk Garden to Fox Creek, VA.

My 17 yr old (almost 18) son is looking for someone young to hike 4-5 days in SW Va., AT, mid July. Athletic.

:-? OK! I have a 3-day weekend, every-other week (from time-2-time I can add days to that for a longer period). Would like to assemble a list of folks that want to form a "Group" so we can notify each-other of hikes so others can join in. This will offer companionship and assist in setting up shuttles.

Some folks desire "solo" trips and I undersatnd that, but for others, we believe there is safety in numbers.

I live on the edge of Lynchburg, VA (Central VA), but all folks, regardless of where you live, are :welcome
