Bridge Closed (?)

Saw in the local paper that the steel bridge across the Housatonic River in Amesville (Falls Village, CT) is closed. As of now it appears that foot traffic may be allowed to cross. The article said right now it is undecided what is going to happen to the bridge :-? - as far as repairs -but will be closed for at least a month. The AT crosses this bridge.

I hiked this section a couple weeks ago, and was able to walk across no problem.
