Very happy to hear she is OK at least until she get the bill for her rescue, not free in the Alps like it is here in the US.
5 meter fall, she is lucky. I guess. Far enough to maim you, depending on what you land on.

when i look at that article all I see is the add with shapely lady in fishnets...
The woman had been on a day hike on Monday, but lost her way as the weather turned badThis sounds eerily similar to what happens alot on Mt Washington.
Very happy to hear she is OK at least until she get the bill for her rescue, not free in the Alps like it is here in the US.

I thought it was odd that they would put 5 helicopters and 5 dozen people up looking for one person near a cable line. Guess everyone wanted a piece of the pie.
Anyway, although she got herself into a tough spot, she was clever enough to get a message out and survive three days till help arrived.
This sounds eerily similar to what happens alot on Mt Washington.
I hear you and hope someone who needs to will.
