Are they specially modified? You might be able to make do with the Walmart ones, I think they are Swiss Gear.

They haven't been modified but I bought them because the handles were a good fit for my hands which can't grips things well. I was in WalMart yesterday but didn't see any poles, will go back and check today.

Mowgli, I PMd you, thanks.I'd lend you mine but I need them this weekend:(. My knee tracks poorly.
