Is it possible to hike north on the AT from Georgia, intersect the Lewis and Clark then hike west and intersect the PCT to go south? Could other established Trail sytems be added to this for an even longer continuous hike? Has anyone ever done this?

The Lewis and Clark Trail starts in Missouri and is not exactly a real trail but various road walks. You could intersect with the Trans Atlantic Trail ( a bike, hike, and hoarse trail) and take that all the way to the Pacific. Where is intersects I am not sure?
I think Forrest Gump, maybe....

You could also walk at AT until it intersects near the North Country Trail and take that to North Dakota where is would be a closer ride to the CDT.
