Hey all, question for a buddy ("Single barrel" in my pics) regarding the Nemo gogo bivy. Anyone here ever used one? if so, what did you think? He is interested in more than just a plain tarp.
Here is the link...

Does it have ventilation at the foot end? (doesn't appear to in the pics)
Does it live up to the hype on the company site?
Any reliability issues?
I tarp personally but searching the forums I have come up with some fairly equivalent (cost, weight, size, etc) alternates with these:
http://www.tarptent.com/contrail.html from Henry Shires and,
http://www.sixmoondesigns.com/shop/Shopexd.asp?id=36 from SMD.
I don't think he would dig the Wild Oasis. He may have used a larger Shire's tarptent that Greengoat loaned him but I am not sure. I anyone has recommendations of something similiar to the above 3, please let me know.
I don't think he is looking for a full on tent and hammocking is almost definately out. Thanks.
