View Full Version : AT knife
My aunt just sent me a pocket knife. It says "Appalachian Trail" on the handle. The two blades have flowers etched on them. The big blade says "Boker, Made in Germany," and "200 LTD."
Anyone know anything about these knives?
Are they old? I know that Lowes sells a semi-cheap line of knives, and the brand name is Appalachian Trail.
Boker is a fine knife company. I am not familiar with that particular knife but I think you have a keeper.

Does it look like this knife from the ATC? (Bottom of page)

The knife doesn't look new, but neither is it very old. The blades are stainless steel.
I know nothing about that particular knife. I do know that Boker is a very fine knife. The style of the knife is *canoe*,the shape of the handle. That is a beautiful knife you have Marta. Looks like a collectors item if it was limited to 200 made.

I would keep that put up as a collectable. Etched knives are not really used as a work knife. Keep the packing also.
Buy a 20 dollar knive if you need something to tote around.
Found this on Ebay, hope it helps:

Good find pmazer,I did not know you could find closed auctions. I was right on the canoe part, but wrong on the 200 part. I thought it meant limited to 200 produced, looks like the 200 is model number.

It's a pretty little thing. No packaging. I imagine my aunt found it at a junk shop.
Thanks for finding the eBay listing.
