anyone know what the name of the lean-to on Saddle Ball Mountain in New Ashford Mass? and whether or not tenting is allowed in the general area?

Maybe you are thinking of Mark Nopel Shelter. Not sure it is actually in New Ashford. There are 2 tent platforms and numerous other tent sites.
