Would anyone be interested in hiking the complete bartram trail in September or October?

I'd hike it with you in October. I'll be hiking the JMT from 9/5 - 9/28.

I have the time off from work and this will be my first longer than a weekend hike. Definitely not comfortable hiking by myself yet. When in October would you want to hike? Will it be cold by that time of the year?

Not cold, but pleasant weather. It'd probably be the 2nd or 3rd week, as I'll need to work for a couple of weeks after my JMT trip.

Hey you all. Me and my fiance are doing our first hike on the first leg of the Bartram trail. You all mind if we tag along. We can cover 13 miles a day if needed.

Just a little tip in case you don't know. Ron Haven from the Budget Motel in Franklin will pick you up at the Bartram trailhead on Tessentee Road and you can stay in his motel, which is very reasonable. There's a laundry, restaurants, and a super market within walking distance of his motel. He'll then take you out to the other trailhead so you can finish the second segment. I was able to get a phone signal just about a quarter mile from the trailhead on Tessentee. Ron's phone number is 828 524 4403. Jakebrake
