I figured that it was only a matter of time until an article like this appeared. Short, and to the point. One aspect I wholeheartedly agree with is the fact that opportunities exist to extend any hike before or after Springer (depending on your direction) regardless of what the trail you are walking on is called. Isn't that the most important thing, that there is a footpath?
