Has anyone ever used one of these for insulation with a hammock?

Ask over on the Hammock Forum and you'll get good info.

I've used the wide one. You really have to work with it and cut it down for it to work for ya. I like it. I can sleep in a 30*F bag and that pad down to about 40*F.

That one is way too thin in my opinion it crumples up and becomes a tiny wad under you..perfect for tent camping :)

Unless you are talking about this one...

For hammock users we now have 1/4" thick ThinLight pads at a 41" width. These pads are made from the same EvazoteŽ foam as the original ThinLights and provide plenty of coverage for the cold spots.

I love it but made the mistake of folding it in two...better to have the bulk or enclose it in your frameless pack if you use one and not put the crease in it.
